In today's business climate, what is considered a "good" company is one where the sense social responsibility toward the community and environment (both ecological and social) is cultivated. A "good company" is active in the community, treats both employees and customers respectfully and fairly. In short, it is one which focuses on providing social as well as economic value to their community.
Because we honestly believe you will see how our firm follows this modern vision of a "good company" we invite you to read further; to dig deeper into the story of our company. We think you'll find our story interesting and informative reading. And should you have questions or comments about anything you read here, give us a call at (561) 747-9883. We'll be delighted to speak with you.
We'd like to illustrate how our firm continues to build on a strong four-legged foundation of social responsibility. Following the description of a socially-responsible (or "good") company found on the Wikipedia page, "Corporate Social Responsibility"; our firm expresses the qualities of this socially-responsible foundation in four ways:
First, they adhere to clearly defined polices to reduce environmental impact of their business practices. We have always cared deeply about this community, and continue to do what we can to preserve its natural beauty and ensure the highest quality of life for those living here. This includes reducing electrical consumption wherever and whenever possible, recycling office supplies and other items; and completing regularly scheduled maintenance on our corporate vehicles to meet existing pollution emission standards.
Second, a "good" business enriches its community by designing, contributing to, or otherwise supporting educational and social programs. Our goal is to raise awareness of end-of-life issues, thereby increasing understanding of their options, the value of planning ahead, and the importance of ceremony in healthy, purposeful grieving.
Third, they focus on earning adequate, fair returns on the resources they employ. Our firm has been guided by the concept of fair value and reasonable pricing since we first began serving our community.
Fourth, a "good" business contributes to the greater good by putting attention and energy into philanthropic or volunteering activities. Our staff members devote time to chosen charitable causes.
We truly want to show you how our story of commitment to excellence in service and social responsibility is woven throughout each of the things we do on behalf of the families we serve. Certainly you can learn more about us by reading our code of ethics, and of course we invite you to pick up the phone to spend a few minutes to listen to more of the story of our firm, and get to know us better. Just give us a call at (561) 747-9883.
