Ron moved from Buffalo, NY to Florida in 1987 and retired from SCI
after 20 years of service. He worked with Avatar Cremation Services
from its inception for 14 years.
Ron was a member of The Church-By-The-Sea in Fort Lauderdale and volunteered for Hospice by the Sea of South Florida for 10 years. He enjoyed music, movies and traveling.
Ron was 91 years young and still worked part-time planning pre-arrangements for our families. He would get calls years later; our families remember him being compassionate & caring.
July 1, 2024 would of started his 18th year of working with Avatar Cremation Services.
Ron is survived by his nephew, Martin G. Garneret, III, of Ohio. Ron
was preceded in death by his father, Martin G. Garneret, Sr; his
mother, Loretta (Calkins) Garneret; his two brothers, Lionel Garneret
& Martin G. Garneret, Jr.
